The Saint Thomas Sleep Analysis Clinic, was a beautiful experience. This place was very beautiful inside and very big.
Miss Jenny my nurse made my experience very very comfortable. She was very informative about my procedure.
The bed was so amazingly comfortable, I definitely hated to get up. Miss Jenny was very helpful in handling my needs, 
I felt like I had died and went to heaven, and she was the inviting angel at the gate.

The only thing that was weird/uncomfortable was the Jack and Jill bathroom and that I could not lock my door from the outside. Did not like knowing anyone could walk into my room.

I hate the glue you use to apply wires to my head. I have shampooed my hair twice and I still can't get that crap out of my hair. I suppose I will need to use Dawn dishwashing detergent as a shampoo, and let it remain in my hair for 15-20 minutes then try to rinse out the glue adhesive. If that doesn't work I guess my last option would be Goo-B-Gone. 

Technician gets 5-stars from me...very attentive to my every need. She was right on top of every issue that came up with my stay..and I had several, since I take a diuretic that causes frequent need to use the bathroom. I had to get up three times during the night and as soon as I threw back the covers to get up she was right there helping me! 

I could have used another blanket during the night. I'm 82 and get chilled easily. It seemed a little cool in the room and an extra blanket would have been appreciated.

Ashley did my test and cannot say enough good about her! She was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I was well informed and cared for. She made the whole experience easy and pleasurable. Even brought me coffee when it was time to wake up. I highly recommend her. Also, the whole appointment process was easy and was kept informed of what was expected.

It was difficult trying to get the appointment scheduled with a lot of missed called and not being called back when I was meant to be. Had to leave multiple messages trying to find out information for me to book and the person did not seem impressed I was asking before booking. I needed to know beforehand as I start work at 6.30am. Couldn’t get an appointment close to my home, likely because it took so long to get the information and actually speak to someone. 
The room was adequate, although the tv being so high is not good as it made it painful to watch. Thankfully I brought my laptop with me. The bathroom was covered in very visible dust on the glass shelves. That made me extremely concerned as I am an asthmatic and dust is a trigger. It also just made me feel uncomfortable about the possible cleanliness of the rest of the room. 
The sleep tech I had was amazing. I can’t remember her name but it began with a T. She was super friendly and made me feel at ease, was attentive to needs

Kaylee & Erica were excellent. While the sleep latency test was a form of "sleep torture", Erica made my son as comfortable as he could possibly be given the circumstances. I've accompanied my three children and four studies over the years (my youngest had a before & after tonsillectomy & adenoidectomy) and this experience was by far the best and only time we've been to St. Thomas. While I hope that I'll never have to come back, if our family needs a sleep study, I will request to return to St. Thomas. Thank you!

The fact that the HVAC eas not working properly made it difficult to sleep as I was very hot.

Also, the room was a bit dusty, especially on the ceiling fans, and this kept me from turning it on to try to cool the room.

Communication from the staff was good, but the arrival process needs to be improved. There is no signage identifying the correct entrance, yet the paperwork repeatedly emphasizes strict tardy, late, and no-show policies. This creates unnecessary anxiety, especially when patients are not allowed to arrive before 7:45 for an 8:00 appointment, leaving only a 15-minute window to locate an unmarked door. For elderly patients in particular, this expectation is unrealistic, as speed and mobility may be limited. If punctuality is going to be enforced so strictly, clearer arrival instructions and visible signage are essential, and the tone of the tardy policy should be reconsidered so it does not intimidate patients who are genuinely trying to arrive on time.

I have to say that the experience was frustrating and uncomfortable. I was unable to sleep for any length of time and the nose piece and head gear was ill fitting. When I made the appointment, I was told I could use my AirMini, which is what I successfully use at home. Upon arrival, I was told I had to use the CPAP machine in the room, which would not handle my hose and pillow nose piece. Overall, it was extremely frustrating.

The room was not very soundproof. Instructions given over the intercom to another patient, while not clear and understandable, (maintained confidentiality) still interrupted my already difficult sleep. Also, the mattress has seen better days and is not particularly comfortable. Perhaps if they turned the mattress, it would have been better.

Upon arriving and giving a room I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. I was immediately told that I had no access to watching TV due to no signal. I asked to be moved to another room and was told I could go to another room only to watch TV until it was time for me to sleep which was 11 PM. I was determined for the facilitator to change the HMDI to get a TV signal. As I was getting hooked up to the wires, the solution that was applied to my scalp was burning and I asked was I supposed to feel that and was told yes. The same solution was applied to my face that caused a burn after she ripped the tape off my face when the study was over. And the fact I had to asked on several occasions to turn down the air conditioning cause it was freezing in the room. So no, my visit was not friendly and I am suffering from a swollen burn mark on my face in which I pray does not leave a permanent mark on my face.

As a parent having to take a child, it would have been nice to have a single bed to sleep in. The recliner in the room minimally reclined and was incredibly noisy. 
Staff was wonderful.
